David C Mathews is a certified captain with a long personal history centered on every aspect of yachting. His easygoing personality has been shaped by many years of dealing with international clientele, and he brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to your project. He holds a 200 ton international licence plus a Canadian Master's ticket. His company, TAO YACHT DELIVERY makes the following statement:
- We will deliver your Power or Sail vessel safely and efficiently.
- Our service will be provided at a reasonable cost.
- We provide all necessary paper charts plus an electronic navigation suite.
- Owner orientation is available during an owner-aboard delivery.

After the original construction of Dave's 56 foot trimaran TAO, one the first charters was with Seneca College. Semester-at-Sea type courses were conducted aboard, up and down the east coast from the Hudson River all the way south to Miami and across the gulf stream to Nassau. (See Testimonials, Gordon McNeil)
Then many long term scuba tours were conducted throughout the Bahamas (Testimonials, Martha Wohlford) which rounded out knowledge of island waters. Sail Provo was established as a charter company in the Turks & Caicos Islands, and at that time Dave began conducting yacht deliveries to all manner of destinations.
